NEWTECONS CONTINUES OUR JOURNEY OF SHARING WITH COMMUNITIES IN CENTRAL VIETNAM AND THE CENTRAL HIGHLANDS

Following our charity trip to Khanh Hoa, on December 2, 2025, the Newtecons delegation continued our journey of spreading love and support to communities in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands that are working to recover from severe flooding. This time, we visited Phong Hau hamlet (Tuy An Bac commune) and Trung Luong 01 hamlet (Tuy An Tay commune), Tuy An District, Dak Lak Province, as well as households in Tho Nghia hamlet, Tuy Phuoc commune, Gia Lai Province.

The floods left behind immeasurable losses. Water levels rose rapidly, and many residents had only enough time to escape with a few sets of clothes. Numerous homes were swept away and walls collapsed. Fields and gardens were buried in mud, with debris and fallen trees scattered everywhere, while livestock and poultry were washed away. Livelihoods that were already difficult have now become even more uncertain. After the water receded, people returned to scenes of devastation, doing their best to rebuild their lives piece by piece.

With empathy and a strong sense of community responsibility, Newtecons hopes to share part of this hardship through practical support packages:

• In Phong Hau and Trung Luong 01 (Dak Lak): we delivered 422 gift packages.
• In Tho Nghia (Gia Lai): we delivered 370 gift packages to severely affected households.

The total support budget exceeded VND 600 million, including:

• Each gift package: VND 300,000 worth of essential goods + VND 500,000 in cash
• Carefully prepared second-hand clothing delivered to those in need

In addition, our delegation visited and encouraged 07 families of Newtecons employees affected by the disaster (05 households in Dak Lak and 02 households in Gia Lai). Each family received VND 10 million as a warm message of support from the Newtecons family to help them stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

This trip was made possible thanks to the wholehearted contributions of our employees, with a total of VND 195 million raised during the donation campaign launched by our Trade Union from November 25 to 29, 2025. This solidarity has reflected Newtecons’ humanitarian values and strengthened our determination to overcome challenges, travel long distances, and deliver support to the right places and the people who need it most.
