NEWTECONS JOIN HANDS TO SUPPORT RESIDENTS IN DIEN KHANH AFTER THE FLOODS
As soon as the floodwaters receded, the Newtecons volunteer team promptly traveled to Dien Khanh commune in Khanh Hoa province, bringing warmth, compassion, and meaningful support to families in the heart of the flood-stricken region.
November 20, 2025, remains deeply etched in the memories of local residents as a historic flood causing severe devastation: 22 fatalities; more than 30,655 households submerged under 1–3 meters of water; over 13,300 hectares of rice fields and crops, along with hundreds of hectares of aquaculture, swept away or damaged; and the province’s transportation system heavily destroyed. Total estimated losses reached approximately VND 5,000 billion.

On November 26, 2025, when the Newtecons volunteer team arrived in Dien Khanh, the scene was heartbreaking – homes in ruins, belongings damaged, mud and debris everywhere, and the lingering smell of dampness and waste. A total of 350 essential relief packages (including sugar, cooking oil, fish sauce, salt, MSG, detergent, etc.) together with financial support of VND 500,000 per household – equivalent to a total budget of VND 300 million sourced from the Company’s fund – were delivered directly to each affected family. Though modest, these gifts carried profound care and solidarity with the local community.

In addition to social relief efforts, Newtecons has also prioritized supporting employees’ families affected by storms and floods. During this trip, the delegation visited and provided assistance to four Newtecons employees’ households residing in Khanh Hoa province, offering VND 10 million per family as timely encouragement to help them recover and stabilize their lives after the disaster.

To further spread this humanitarian spirit, Newtecons will extend its charitable efforts to other severely affected areas such as Binh Dinh and Phu Yen.
