NEWTECONS WON THE BID AND BEGAN CONSTRUCTION ON VIETEL TECHNICAL CENTER IN HOA LAC WITH HIGH TECHNICAL STANDARDS

In the role of General Contractor of M.E.P, Newtecons impressed successfully with the Vietel Technical Center in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Thach That, Hanoi. This project necessitates adhering to a number of construction standards for international data center, including stringent deployment and operation requirements.

Viettel Technical Center in Hoa Lac will be one of the two largest data storage centers of Viettel in Vietnam after completing and operating, the using area is 21,467sqm including 7 floors.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on November 29, 2021, establishing a partnership between Newtecons and Viettel Asset Management Company, as well as the project participants: Vietnam Institute For Building Science And Technology (IBST) (Supervisor), Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation (VNCC) (Consultant and Design).

Viettel Technical Center in Hoa Lac has the shape of a solid and equally spectacular building block, with square box architecture, non-standard perforated aluminum facade system, and modern and new steel structure system as a highlight. This is a typical project with a combination of technical and artistic features.

Although construction without the basement, the project has a complex structure that necessitates the use of construction techniques appropriate for a two-story structure. In which the installation of technical equipment systems; big oil tanksand water tanks with the size more than 70m in length and -7.5m in depth that is supported by a ground structure ranging from 6-9m in height.

Viettel Technical Center in Hoa Lac is expected to complete in September 2022 in accordance with the most severe construction and acceptance criteria. The M.E.P system implemented by Newtecons meets the construction criteria of adata center and plays a critical role in terms of operational safety, security, and self-convenience.

Some important items such as air conditioner to ensure stable temperature for servers and equipment; redundant connection system; security and surveillance systems; The power supply system meets international standards… Newtecons has been focusing on and following all these projects from the start to coordinate construction and assure project quality.

Viettel Technical Center in Hoa Lac is the next project in Newtecons’ journey of creating iconic works, confirming our position and role as Vietnam’s leading General Contractor. We look forward to the appearance of a major data center in September 2022.
