NEWTECONS MODIFIES THE CORPORATE GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
Newtecons sets a revenue goal of more than 10,000 billion VND for 2022. The Board of Directors of Newtecons Investment Construction Joint Stock Company has decided to modify the corporate governance structure in accordance with international best practices to meet the expanding development roadmap and ensure that revenue for the upcoming year is higher than it was for the previous year. As a result, Mr. Vo Thanh Liem was appointed to General Director position beginning at the end of June 2022, while Mr. Tran Kim Long remained the Chairman of the Board position.
Mr. Vo Thanh Liem was born in 1977, graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. He has more than 22 years of experience and has held numerous important roles in significant Vietnamese construction companies, most recently serving as former Acting General Director of Coteccons and Operations Director of Ricons.
Mr. Vo Thanh Liem has a personable, vivacious, and fierce personality in addition to the ability to connect with significant domestic and foreign investors. He is trusted to be given the duty of leading the human resources team, assisting Newtecons to maintain its position as the top general construction contractor in Vietnam.
Since rebranding formally in 2019, Newtecons has undergone substantial transformations and seen rapid growth under the direction of Mr. Tran Kim Long, Chairman of the Board and General Director. After such accomplishments, Mr. Vo Thanh Liem is anticipated to join the Board of Directors and the Board of Management to uphold the preceding standards of Unity – Integrity – Kindness, and continually enhance and optimize the procedure, putting creativity into practice while continually innovating to help the business grow.
A major step has been taken with the appointing of senior staff, setting the stage for Newtecons to soar to a new higher level. The board of directors of Newtecons believes that Mr. Vo Thanh Liem will continue to be successful for the business while also helping to bring a new face to the Vietnam construction market.
