NEWTECONS SIGNED COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURAL HO CHI MINH CITY
To preserve the positive relationship, Newtecons and the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City signed a cooperation agreement on June 17, 2022. Representatives of the Board of Directors and departments, and the representatives of the University Faculties were present at the signing ceremony.
“Our university always focuses on scientific research, technology transfer, and business collaboration activities to bring students chances for complete of knowledge, skills, and attitudes,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Architect Le Van Thuong, the university’s rector. “And we hope that our students will have the chance to get experience and work in a prestigious construction company like Newtecons.”
Mr. Le Duc Buu, Operations Director of Newtecons, highlighted the strong relatives between academics and business, education and practice. “I believe that today’s ceremony will signal a new and more solid development step between the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City and Newtecons because of the close and ongoing partnership over the previous years. We’ll keep making it possible for your students to gain experience and expand their practical knowledge in a top professional environment of construction in Vietnam.”
After the signing ceremony, the following activities will be promoted by Newtecons in partnership with the university: arranging internships, providing students majoring in civil engineering and infrastructure engineering with training in occupational safety and soft skills; accompanying students as they engage in original research endeavors, academic competitions, and specialized training; planning site visits and training sessions, and career orientation. By doing this, students will have access to new technology and construction techniques then covert them to practical knowledge that they can use right after graduation.
The signing ceremony was successful, which helped to confirm the long-term partnership between Newtecons and the University in their shared duty for the field of education and the next generation of brilliant engineers.
