NEWTECONS HONORS “EXCELLENT TRAINING SITE” – PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM OF PAIHONG VIETNAM PLANT 2
Recently, Newtecons’ leadership, alongside the Human Resources & Training Department, honored the Project Management Team of Paihong Vietnam’s Plant 2. This recognition celebrates the team’s exceptional achievements in internal training and serves as timely motivation and acknowledgment of their exemplary efforts.
In 2022, Newtecons set an ambitious target with a revenue goal of over 10,000 billion VND, alongside an expanding workforce. Consequently, prioritizing training and skill enhancement has become crucial for the company’s executives to fortify the organization’s human resources. In line with this strategy, all departments and work sites have emphasized fostering a culture of continuous learning, boosting internal training, and enhancing interdepartmental collaboration.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuy, Operations Director, expressed his gratitude to the Project Management Team of Plant 2 – Paihong Vietnam for overcoming the dual challenges of ensuring project quality and progress while providing thorough and dedicated training. He stressed that “While challenges abound, the most critical battle is with oneself. Every individual must engage in continuous training to improve day by day. Identifying and placing the right people in suitable roles after training is vital for maximizing their potential and facilitating career advancement.”
Training sessions at the Plant 2 project of Paihong Vietnam occur regularly twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Leaders and supervisors present topics relevant to the project’s timeline, enabling team members to understand, practice, and implement new skills promptly. The training program covers essential skills for newcomers, including effective planning, utilizing Outlook, managing projects through Microsoft Project, and creating presentations with PowerPoint, all taught with great attention to detail.
Mr. Dang Thien Khoa, a key figure in training new members and team leader of the construction organization, reflected: “My initial training session was a bit awkward, but it quickly became more comfortable. Training not only assists new team members but has also significantly boosted my confidence, especially in public speaking.”
Motivational slogans such as “Coming together is the beginning, staying together is progress, and working together signifies success,” and “Think big, start with the small, act quickly,” are prominently displayed in the office as a reminder for the team to support one another wholeheartedly. This collaborative spirit is deemed essential for both individual and collective growth.
Mr. Nguyen Tri Phuong, a Planning Staff, found training on planning skills particularly beneficial. “Training has allowed me to organize my work more effectively, setting detailed tasks and deadlines to closely monitor progress and ensure the quality of the work I deliver,” he shared.
Beyond the Paihong Vietnam Plant 2 project, vibrant training activities are underway across other sites, fostering a competitive yet positive environment among Project Management Teams. This contributes to strengthening and enhancing the quality of human resources, meeting the company’s ambitious growth targets for the year.
