NEWTECONS HELD THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF SORA GARDENS SC PROJECT – THE BIGGEST TRADING CENTER IN BINH DUONG NEW CITY ACCORDING TO JAPANESE STANDARDS
[Binh Duong, March 8, 2022] Newtecons solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony of SORA gardens SC project – the first and largest trading center in Binh Duong new city, this is the second project following the successfull cooperation between Newtecons and Becamex Tokyu at the Sora Gardens II project.
SORA gardens SC is a multi-functional project with 4 floors and a total area of 19,863sqm. It includes a supermarket, a shopping mall, an entertainment area, a food court, a cinema, and a green garden with breathtaking views. It is currently the only and largest trading center in Binh Duong New City.
The AEON supermarket system (Japan) chose SORA gardens SC to deploy the first “Compact GMS” concept in Vietnam. This is a significant project in the urban area that the province leaders and local citizens are highly interested in. It has the potential to become the focal point for enticing inhabitants to live and work in the city, assisting in the transformation of the city into a desirable place to live, work and enjoy life.
“We have created a trustworthy collaboration with Newtecons through the Sora Gardens II project – the project is warmly received and enjoyed by clients”, Mr. Onuma Minoru, Deputy General Director, COO, representative of the Investor Becamex Tokyu, said at the ceremony. “I’m hoping that, as we approach the opening ceremony next year, the contractors will be able to continue working without interruption, establish the Covid-19 prevention plan, and finish the project on time. We expect that by accelerating other development projects in Binh Duong new city, the notion of “Always new” will become a reality, contributing to the general growth of Binh Duong province.”

SORA Gardens II has a total area of 84,000sqm, 24 floors, 557 apartments meet high-quality Japanese standard with green and airy living space and various high-class amenities to provide a comfortable and high-quality lifestyle. The project is a joint venture between Becamex Tokyu and Mitsubishi Corporation – one of Japan’s major urban development contructor with a diverse real estate portfolio. The project succeeded in forming a modern and vibrant residential community at the gateway, transforming the appearance of Binh Duong New City and increasing its worth.
SORA gardens SC project is located at Hung Vuong Road, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province. The project is expected to be handed over and put into operation in early 2023, therefore the Steering Committee has created numerous plans to meet the tight construction deadline, but it must nevertheless adhere to the most stringent Japanese standards in terms of technical considerations.
