CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LAKE TOWER – GRAND MARINA PROJECT, SAIGON REACHING 3 MILLION HOURS OF SAFETY
The Site Management Team of the Lake Tower – Grand Marina project in Saigon received a certificate for 3 million safety hours on May 11, 2023, from the Investor’s representative, under the witness of representatives from Investor Masterise Homes, Mace Project Managers, subcontractors, the Site Management Team of Newtecons, and more than 700 project workers. This is a worthwhile endeavor in response to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2023.
Lake Tower project was started in 2021. Site Management Team of Newtecons worked closely with pertinent Departments/Divisions during the construction phase, including the Technical Department, Equipment Department, Construction Force Department, and HSSE Department… following up frequently to guarantee the security of the project.
The motto “Think safe, work safe, come home safe” is followed by the entire team and workforce. Numerous management and construction strategies have been meticulously put into place to achieve that. The Site Management Team in particular always makes sure that staff in all working positions receive the most precise and timely training and distribution of safety skills. Workers receive safety training on a weekly basis to reinforce the idea that safety is a fundamental priority. Every week, the Site Management Team of the Lake Tower project submits a complete safety report to the Investor and Project Manager in order to get prompt and accurate instructions.
Mr. Mahdi Samhouri, Deputy Director of Project Development Division of Masterise Homes, praised the efforts of TVGS, the General Contractor, the subcontractors, and the labor teams during construction period. “We reached the 1 million safe hours milestone about a year ago, and now we’ve reached 3 million hours. This great success is the result of our efforts. Congratulate and praise everyone around you; we accomplished an outstanding task together.”
“Our project has reached the completion stage and only has a few months left to finish. We shouldn’t be subjective even though this time is no longer risky. I am certain that we will be able to successfully complete the project given the results we have already obtained.” said Mr. Richard Timmins, project director at Mace.
The accomplishment of 3 million hours of safety is a pleasant outcome brought about by the efficient collaboration of Investor Masterise Homes, Project Manager Mace, Newtecons Site Management Team, and assisting partners throughout the project construction process. The 3 million safe hours worked at the project now are mostly attributable to the contributions of all personnel who have been working there safely. This is also the sincerest encouragement for the Site Management Team and the workforce to keep up their strict adherence to safety regulations throughout the upcoming construction phase and to make the best possible progress in getting the project to its destination, according to Mr. Pham Van Can, a representative of Newtecons Site Management Team.
At the ceremony, the Site Management Team also sent gifts to subcontractors and workers who worked extra day and night, followed labor safety standards, and were determined to complete and bring the project to this key milestone with the Site Management Team.
