TECHNICAL DAY AT HCMC UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION

On the morning of October 31, 2024, Newtecons hosted the Technical Day seminar at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, drawing over 800 students from related fields. The event highlighted two main topics: “Basement Construction Techniques” and “BIM Applications in Construction” – both essential areas that have garnered significant interest among students as the construction industry increasingly integrates advanced technologies.

Technical Day is a series of specialized events hosted by Newtecons in partnership with companies across its ecosystem. The event offers students the chance to acquire new knowledge and insights into construction techniques, project management, and technology integration into practical construction work. Guided by seasoned engineers, the seminar provided up-to-date information and shared real-world experience in tackling complex technical challenges in basement construction.

In parallel, the BIM (Building Information Modeling) topic in construction provided students with insights into how this technology helps streamline design and project execution processes, ultimately reducing risks and boosting project management effectiveness. The session also introduced the latest BIM software and tools, preparing students to utilize these technologies in real-world professional settings.

Technical Day creates opportunities for students to engage with industry experts, enhancing their understanding of the construction sector and cultivating their commitment to the profession.
