TECHNICAL DAY AT DA NANG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
On October 25, 2024, in the afternoon, the Technical Day 2024 seminar was held at Da Nang University of Science and Technology, attracting considerable attention from students and lecturers. This event centered on Basement Construction Methods and Safety Management Systems at Newtecons.
The seminar is part of a series of specialized events co-hosted by leading companies in the construction sector, including Newtecons Joint Stock Company and its partners in the ecosystem. It allowed engineering students to explore modern construction solutions and keep abreast of the latest industry trends.

At the seminar, engineers from Newtecons shared their practical experiences in tackling complex technical challenges in basement construction. They also provided an overview of the company’s safety management system, which has proudly received the ASEAN-OSHNET 2024 Award for excellence in occupational safety and health. This comprehensive insight allowed students to understand better the processes, methods, and modern construction technologies involved, from surveying and design to real-world execution on the job site.

Furthermore, Newtecons will introduce a specialized topic on BIM in Construction at a workshop at Da Nang University of Science and Technology on October 26, 2024. This workshop will help students become familiar with BIM tools and software and provide insights into how BIM can optimize project management processes and reduce construction risks.
This event series provides students a platform to engage directly with engineers and industry experts, thereby gaining more straightforward guidance on their career paths. Moreover, to support and motivate the students of Da Nang University of Science and Technology, Newtecons has awarded six scholarships to outstanding individuals.
Newtecons believes that the Technical Day series will provide significant academic value while fostering the passion and commitment of young talents in the construction industry. With the ongoing support of the business community, we hope that young engineers will continue to develop their potential and play a vital role in the future growth of the construction sector.
