NEWTECONS SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS ELECTROMECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION SKILLS COMPETITION
[Ho Chi Minh City, September 9, 2022] – Newtecons has successfully hosted the Electromechanical Construction Skills Competition at the Flora Mizuki MP6-7-8 project, featuring participants from the Nam Long Group as the investor, the consulting firm Artelia, the Dong Nai Plastic Joint Stock Company, Ngoc Nguyen Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd., and 16 competing teams from various partner organizations.

Mr. Vo Thanh Cang, Director of the Electromechanical Division at Newtecons, expressed, “Aiming to deliver maximum benefits to our clients, the Newtecons Electromechanical Division has continuously improved, integrating management and supervision processes, material selection, and construction methodologies tailored to the unique requirements of each project. The Electromechanical Construction Skills Competition was conceived as an opportunity for technicians to engage, learn, and refine their skills, while also serving as a platform for networking, fostering camaraderie, and strengthening partnerships between Newtecons and its collaborators.”

The event featured a spirited competition among 16 teams: CSE, Vinh Dat, Metech, Aquarius, Dat Phan, Mepac, Quoc Hung, CEE, Tan Long Hai, PCCC 2.9, Ba Duong, Gia Nguyen, Tan Phu Loi, Tran Huynh Quang, Minh Y, and Nam Viet. Over three hours, teams were tasked with efficiently organizing their workforce, conducting safe and technically sound construction, and completing their projects on time with optimal quality. The competition results were as follows:
Water Supply and Drainage:
- First Place: Aquarius
- Second Place: CSE
Firefighting:
- First Place: Ba Duong
- Second Place: Tan Long Hai
Air Conditioning:
- First Place: Tan Phu Loi
- Second Place: Minh Y
Electrical:
- First Place: Quoc Hung
- Second Place: CEE



The competition encompassed several categories, including water pipe installation, electrical equipment setup, fire hose installation, and the installation of air ducts and copper pipes. Prior to commencement, the organizing committee provided all necessary materials and checklists for verification by the teams.
