NEWTECONS STARTS CONSTRUCTION OF URBAN COMPLEX PROJECT IN CA MAU CITY – STARTING THE JOURNEY TO CREATE A PALMANOVA IN THE CENTER OF CAPE LAND
The investment project by Newtecons to construct a new urban area in Hamlet 5, Ward 1, Ca Mau City, was formally launched on December 10, 2023. Leaders of the Ca Mau city government, the investor of T&T Land Ca Mau Co.,ltd., members of the Newtecons board of directors, and members of the site management team attended the groundbreaking event. In addition to being a significant project for the province of Ca Mau, this one also demonstrates the long-standing, productive partnership between T&T Group and Newtecons. In its capacity as the General Construction Contractor, Newtecons pledges to guarantee the Investor the quality and advancement of the project delivery.
The new urban area in Hamlet 5, Ward 1, Ca Mau City is a strategic project under a cooperation agreement between the People’s Committee of Ca Mau province and T&T Group in the fields of real estate investment, transportation infrastructure, seaport, logistics, energy, tourism, and service trade, among others. The total area of the project is 23 hectares, which includes: 7,5 hectares of low-rise buildings for residential, commercial, and service needs; 2,5 hectares of high-rise mixed-use housing (5 towers of 10 floors, 2 towers of 15 floors); 4 hectares for educational, medical, and service needs; and 9 hectares for technical and transportation infrastructure.
The world-heritage town of Palmanova, Italy, serves as the inspiration for the project’s architecture, which emphasizes precision and attention to detail, supplying a range of amenities, privacy, and a sense of security and care for the residents living here. Specifically, every component of the project strives to ensure appropriate functions for every use case while simultaneously protecting the environment and fostering a feeling of community duty through division.
The Ring City, encircled by a river, is the centerpiece of the urban area. Additionally, this is the project’s most heavily invested public space. The Ring City evokes the usual cultural elements of the Ca Mau region, such as the commerce along both banks of the river, boat traffic, and waterway traffic. This category supports the idea of sustainable development by affirming the distinct separation of each area and adding relevance to the local culture. It also makes a very beautiful impression.
The project’s surrounding river and canal system’s features serve as design inspiration and facilitate the connection of traffic and material transportation, but they also present challenges for the construction unit due to several factors, including surface poor foundation, flooding, inadequate infrastructure, etc. These issues will impede development and necessitate additional fixes and contingency plans to guarantee project excellence.
However, Newtecons is confident in applying techniques and solutions appropriate to project characteristics, solving the majority of geological problems to ensure quality and construction progress. This is because the company has the capacity of a leading general contractor and extensive experience in successfully implementing a series of previous similar projects.
The investor’s praise for the building design and Newtecons’s professional attitude from the beginning of the bid solicitation served as the driving force for Newtecons’s successful completion of the general contractor position. Future updates on the development of the investment project to create a new urban area in Hamlet 5, Ward 1, Ca Mau City, will be available on Newtecons Media channels.
