NEWTECONS ORGANIZES A SERIES OF ACTIVITIES TO CELEBRATE TRADITIONAL DAY 2023
The first Friday of August each year is a special occasion for Newtecons specifically and the companies within the ecosystem at large, known as Traditional Day. In celebration of this significant event, Newtecons has initiated a slew of lively activities aimed at fostering connection and creating lasting impressions among all employees.
- Blood donation: The Blood donation festival
In a bid to spread love and compassion and to showcase community responsibility, on the morning of July 29, 2023, Newtecons, in collaboration with various companies and the HCMC Humanitarian Blood Donation Center, organized the “Red Drop Festival.” Under the banner “A drop of blood donated, a life saved,” the event saw extensive participation from the staff, with over 200 units of blood collected for the blood bank. This is one of the regularly held, impactful activities within the Ecosystem, designed to make a substantial contribution to the community.
- The “Fulfilling Smile” contest
For the past two weeks, the sharing of images themed “fulfilling smile” has made a significant impact and captured the interest of numerous employees. The initiative was not only about posting cheerful and happy images that embody the love and excitement of life among our colleagues, but also about sharing stories filled with meaning, thereby inspiring all employees. The contest ran from July 22 to August 6, with the winners announced on August 9.
- Morning Coffee event
Following the meaningful activities celebrating Traditional Day, on the morning of August 3, at the “common home” – Newtecons Tower, employees from six companies had the chance to enjoy morning coffee, engage in conversations, and capture beautiful moments. These images reflect the happiness and pride of working together under one roof.
- Gift delivery to construction sites
Among the most heartfelt activities was the delivery of gift boxes filled with affection from the Union Committee to teams at construction sites across the country. This also served as a moment for team members from various units to come together, share joys, strengthen bonds, and support each other in their work towards a shared goal.
Through these activities, Newtecons aims to offer meaningful experiences and joy to all employees, further cementing the foundation of a united, robust ecosystem brimming with energy.
