On November 27, 2021, the topping-out ceremony for Techcombank Saigon Tower, the new headquarters of Techcombank, was elegantly conducted at the project’s location, 23 Le Duan, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The event was orchestrated by Newtecons, the general contractor, with the participation of representatives from Techcombank and Mace, the project management and construction supervision consultant.
After overcoming delays due to the pandemic, the Newtecons team dedicated themselves night and day to completing the final stages of construction. This commitment was highlighted at the topping-out ceremony of the Techcombank Saigon Tower on November 27, 2021.
During the event, Mr. Hoang Long Hoi, Head of the Southern Representative Office at Techcombank, voiced his appreciation for the unwavering effort and commitment of the Newtecons team, along with all contractors and consultants involved. “I hope that we will continue to embody the spirit of surmounting recent challenges and advance with the construction timeline, ensuring the desired quality and adherence to the planned schedule,” he stated.
Nestled in a prime spot at the heart of Ho Chi Minh City and boasting dual frontages on Le Duan and Nguyen Du streets, the Techcombank Saigon Tower spans approximately 35,000 m2. The structure includes 21 above-ground floors and 5 basement levels. A 40-meter-high atrium not only enhances the building’s sense of space but also serves as a distinctive feature of the project.
