The Viettel Hoa Lac Technical Center spans a total construction area of 21,467 m2, with 7 floors above ground. Despite lacking a basement, the project incorporates a sophisticated structure that demands advanced construction techniques equivalent to those required for buildings with two basement levels. This includes the design of high-ceilinged floors ranging from 6-9m to accommodate technical equipment, as well as large oil and water tanks exceeding 70m in length and with depths of -7.5 m.
Project progress as of February 2022.
With its cubic design and unique perforated aluminum facade, complemented by a striking steel structure, the building epitomizes a robust, contemporary, and innovative architectural statement. It stands as a benchmark for the seamless integration of engineering prowess and aesthetic vision.

Scheduled for completion in September 2022, the Viettel Hoa Lac Technical Center is set to undergo rigorous finishing and acceptance processes, adhering to the highest standards. The MEP system, a critical component for operational safety, security, and efficiency, has been a focal point for Newtecons from the beginning.
Key features include temperature-stabilized air conditioning for server and equipment areas, redundancy-enabled connectivity, comprehensive security and surveillance systems, and an electrical setup conforming to international standards, all meticulously overseen to ensure project excellence. Additionally, the project utilizes the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system for streamlined construction management.
The unveiling of one of Viettel’s largest data storage centers in Vietnam is eagerly anticipated by the end of this year.
