NEWTECONS ACCOMPANIES FIVE STAR GROUP IN DEVELOPING ICONIC 5-STAR HOTEL COMPLEXES IN VUNG TAU
On the morning of June 18, 2025, Newtecons and SOL E&C successfully held the contract signing ceremony for the role of Design & Build General Contractor, Project Management Consultant, and subcontractor for diaphragm wall construction at two international 5-star hotel-apartment complexes: Five Star Poseidon and Five Star Odyssey, located in Vung Tau City.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Trần Văn Mười – Chairman of Five Star Group; Mr. Nguyễn Bá Dương – Founding Chairman of Newtecons, along with the leadership teams of Five Star Group, Newtecons, SOL E&C, and companies within the ecosystem (BM Windows, BOHO, and DB), as well as Artelia Vietnam and Bachy Soletanche Vietnam.
Developed by Five Star Group, Five Star Poseidon and Five Star Odyssey are two international 5-star hotel-apartment projects situated on Thuy Van Street – considered the most vibrant and prime location in Vung Tau’s Back Beach area, which is planned as a walking and night street zone. Among them, Five Star Poseidon consists of twin towers with 43 above-ground floors and 3 basement levels, while Five Star Odyssey boasts 50 above-ground floors and 4 basement levels. Both are considered architectural landmarks that will help form high-end international-standard resort complexes, creating a significant boost for Vung Tau’s tourism and economic development, and attracting further investment to the region.
During the signing ceremony, Mr. Trần Văn Mười – Chairman of Five Star Group expressed his delight in collaborating with Newtecons, SOL E&C, and other ecosystem partners to realize these world-class projects that will contribute to the economic and tourism development of the coastal city of Vung Tau. He shared that the parties had worked closely during the design phase to determine the best solutions and hoped to maintain an open, cooperative spirit to ensure the successful delivery of the projects.
In response to the trust placed by the Client, Mr. Nguyễn Bá Dương – Founding Chairman of SOL E&C emphasized that the companies within the construction ecosystem will jointly propose optimal construction solutions and ensure that Five Star Poseidon and Five Star Odyssey are delivered safely, on schedule, and with the highest quality.
