NEWTECONS – 20 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT

On October 23, 2023, a friendly gathering of the Company’s executives and staff was held at Newtecons’ headquarters in the morning to commemorate the company’s 20th anniversary of founding (October 23, 2003– October 23, 2023).

Chairman of the Board, Mr. Tran Kim Long made the following statement during the ceremony: “We started out as a small office at 31 Ly Van Phuc. After 20 years, with efforts, steadfastness, full responsibility as well as the desire to not stop developing, we – Newtecons’ people in the Ecosystem – have made valuable contributions and helped Newtecons grow stronger. As the company celebrates its 20th anniversary, I would want to thank every employee for their past efforts and achievements.”

Many significant events have occurred along that voyage. From a small-scale subcontractor named F.D.C. at the beginning, Newtecons has grown to become one of Vietnam’s top 50 fastest-growing businesses and one of the country’s 10 most prestigious construction contractors. In terms of business, Newtecons’ income in 2022 surpassed the VND 10,000 billion of revenue.

Remarkably proud milestones

Having reached this point, those connected to Newtecons are aware that the organization has faced numerous highs and lows, surmounted countless obstacles, and benefited from the legacies and leadership of numerous earlier generations in order to accomplish shared objectives.

Over the past two decades, Newtecons has viewed problems as opportunities to change minds, dare to think, dare to do, and dare to change in order to achieve its purpose of contributing to the development of the construction sector and becoming a leading General Construction Contractor in Vietnam.

Newtecons also “transforms” to continuously enhance the operating system, supporting core values such as Unity – Creativity – Optimization – Integrity – Kindness, with the slogan “Build on Trust.” Furthermore, Newtecons is part of a strong ecosystem that includes the following companies: Newtecons, Ricons, SOL E&C, BM Windows Façade, BOHO Décor, DB, and Areus Atelier. From here, Newtecons firmly assumes the role of General Contractor on a variety of complex and demanding projects. Recently, Newtecons joined the VIETUR joint venture and won the offer for package 5.10, valued at 35,000 billion VND, as part of the Long Thanh Airport project.

Newtecons has built hundreds of projects and is a partner of many significant corporations, including ACV, Masterise Homes, Vingroup, T&T Group, Hoa Phat Group, Nam Long Corporation, Sun Group, Becamex Tokyu, Viettel, Techcombank, Fulbright, An Gia, Paihong, TTI, BW Industrial, Logos, etc.

Not content with a large number of projects, Newtecons also seeks to align business development objectives with the mission of “creating value for partners, customers, and society” while establishing a pleasant working environment for all Newtecons’ people. As a result, Newtecons has always attracted and retained a large number of brilliant individuals who have been with the company from its inception to the present. On the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary, the Board of Directors of Newtecons awarded medals and presents as a gesture of profound gratitude and wishes for the employees to continue to stay with the Company on the upcoming journey.

Professional working environment

For many Newtecons employees, Newtecons has long been like a second family, where managers genuinely care about their well-being and coworkers support and care for one another. Newtecons has tried to provide a welcoming, cozy, and professional work atmosphere for each and every employee. Therefore, 2022 is the third consecutive time that Newtecons has been honored with the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” award.

In order to produce projects of Vietnamese stature, Newtecons is also unwavering in its adherence to the corporate philosophy “Prestige – Professionalism – Kindness”. With this mentality, all employees at Newtecons go forward and make an effort to finish projects in line with promises made regarding quality, safety, and implementation progress. Together, Newtecons and its Ecosystem will progress on the next trip. Completing the Long Thanh Airport project’s bidding package is one of the key objectives among them. However, Founding Chairman Nguyen Ba Duong expects all staff members to “continue to step forward and be passionate about the work” in order for the company to grow further in an environment where the construction sector is still facing numerous challenges. He feels that “If each person is always aware of their role and responsibility towards the collective, the Ecosystem will certainly grow stronger and stronger.”
