M GARDEN CITY DANANG PROJECT TEAM SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES TECHNICALLY CHALLENGING CONSOLE BEAM INSTALLATION
The project command team of M Garden City Danang recently accomplished a significant milestone by executing an overnight construction operation in heavy rain conditions to successfully complete the installation of the project’s main and most technically challenging transfer beams, which serve as the structural backbone of the entire development.
The largest transfer beam spans dimensions of 2650m × 2500m, comprising three console beams, each 8.75m in length. This critical layer of the structure, with a floor area of 810 m2, is characterized by its complex structural details, fair-faced concrete finish, and a total concrete volume of 730 m3.
In the face of prolonged challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, escalating material costs, negative impacts from surrounding construction, intricate designs, and complex architectural elements, the project team has poured their dedication into mastering difficult techniques. They have endeavored to maintain the project timeline, comply with safety protocols, and uphold the highest quality standards.
M Garden City Danang has been acknowledged by Archdaily as one of the world’s large-scale, distinctive green projects and has notably received the Best Hotel Architecture Design award from the PropertyGuru Awards (Singapore).
