GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT WINLOCK 2A PROJECT – BWID LONG AN
Newtecons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company collaborated with the Investor – Winlock 2A Company Limited to host the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Industrial Development Winlock 2A Project – BWID Long An in the morning, November 9, 2023. Representatives from the Investor, VEV design consultant, Bareau Veritas Vietnam oversight consultant, Newtecons General Contractor, and important visitors attended the occasion.
The Industrial Development Winlock 2A project – BWID Long An is situated in the Vinh Loc 2 industrial park and consists of 4 two-story factories totaling more than 100,000sqm in floor area. The steel construction system and the meticulously designed facades give the project a distinct aesthetic appeal. Specifically, the project uses ultra-flat floor standards; the main floor height can reach up to 10 meters, which helps to ensure ventilation inside the factory and enhance usable space.
The Newtecons Site Management Team implemented the BIM model from the start to maximize data management and offer the best possible support for design, construction, and operation in order to meet the project’s stringent requirements. In addition, this methodology reduces construction-related risks and expenses.
“Industrial Development Winlock 2A Project – BWID Long An is a project with a large-scale two-story factory system Large, meeting LEED Gold standards, deployed for the first time in Vietnam. Due to the intricate nature of the project’s scope and technology, a sizable, reliable, and skilled contractor such as Newtecons must be involved. To finish the project, I hope the general contractor, design consultant, supervision consultant, and associated units will work together”. Stated Mr. Hoang Tuan Dat, Project Director, speaking on behalf of the Investor, during the event.
As the general contractor for this project, Newtecons is responsible for factory construction, technological infrastructure, MEP, and auxiliary items. Following the success of projects No. 08 – BW Thoi Hoa and No. 05 – BW Hai Duong, this is also the third project in which Newtecons has trust in and collaborates with the investor.
It is anticipated that the Winlock 2A Industrial Development Project – BWID Long An will be finished by the first quarter of 2025. With experience as a general contractor building numerous large industrial factory projects across the nation, Newtecons is certain that it will safely and on schedule complete the project and ensure that the investor’s strict technical and aesthetic requirements are met.
