NEWTECONS BREAKS GROUND ON HOA PHAT LONG AN STEELMAKING AND ROLLING MILL PROJECT
On the morning of July 28, 2026, Newtecons with the project owner, Hoa Phat Long An Steel Trading and Services Joint Stock Company, officially broke ground on the Hoa Phat Long An Steelmaking and Rolling Mill Project at Phuoc Dong Port Industrial Park, Tan Lan Commune, Tay Ninh Province.

Covering a total area of 110,057 square metres, the project is envisioned as a large-scale manufacturing facility for steel billets and construction steel, using clean scrap steel as part of its raw materials. Once operational, the plant is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 700,000 tonnes, comprising 21,000 tonnes of steel billets and 679,000 tonnes of construction steel.
Having partnered with Hoa Phat Group on numerous strategic projects as the general contractor, the Newtecons team will continue to leverage its extensive experience, coordination capabilities and strong sense of responsibility to ensure the project meets its safety, quality and schedule objectives.
