NEWTECONS TOPS OUT THE SENIQUE HANOI – A KEY MILESTONE MARKING THE COMPLETION OF STRUCTURAL WORKS FOR A LARGE-SCALE DEVELOPMENT OF OVER 2,000 APARTMENTS IN EASTERN HANOI
On May 6, 2026, Newtecons, in collaboration with CapitaLand Development Vietnam and key partners, officially held the topping-out ceremony for The Senique Hanoi, a premium residential project located in Vinhomes Ocean Park, Gia Lam, Hanoi. The event marks an important milestone as the project completes its entire structural phase and moves forward into the finishing stage.
The Senique Hanoi is a high-end residential development by CapitaLand Development Vietnam, in partnership with Mitsubishi Estate and Nomura Real Estate Development. Strategically located in the eastern part of the capital, the project offers convenient connectivity to central Hanoi and major transport routes.
The project comprises three towers with more than 2,150 apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, along with 24 commercial shophouse units. It is developed based on a green, smart living model integrated with a comprehensive range of amenities. With a total construction floor area of up to 239,474 square meters, including one interconnected basement level of 21,838 square meters and 37 functional floors, the project forms a large-scale residential complex that requires strong construction and management capabilities.
As the General Contractor, Newtecons has carried out the superstructure works in a synchronized manner, meeting strict requirements in terms of technical standards, schedule, and construction organization. The project has been implemented during a period of recovery in the construction market, creating pressure on manpower resources and fluctuations in material costs. At the same time, as a high-end development, the project also sets stringent quality standards for each work item. Nevertheless, thanks to close coordination among the Developer, consultants, and the entire construction team, the project successfully reached the topping-out milestone as planned, while ensuring safety and quality criteria.
The project features several distinctive components, including a façade system with prominent vertical and horizontal fins; an indoor four-season swimming pool on the 20th floor of Senique Premier tower; and large-scale outdoor amenities such as the 50-meter Fjord swimming pool and Resort Valley swimming pool. These components require multidisciplinary construction coordination and strict technical control throughout the implementation process.
Following the completion of the structural works, the project will continue with several key work packages, including façade, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, interior finishing, and landscaping. This phase requires close collaboration among all parties to ensure quality, progress, and overall project consistency. With timely support and close coordination from the Developer, Newtecons will continue to leverage its construction capabilities, resources, and experience to bring the project to completion on schedule and in line with the required quality standards.
The topping-out ceremony of The Senique Hanoi further affirms Newtecons’ capability as the General Contractor for large-scale high-rise developments. It also demonstrates the company’s ability to flexibly meet the stringent standards of international developers, contributing to the creation of high-quality projects in Vietnam.
