THE CENTRIC THUY NGUYEN – THE HEART OF THE NEW URBAN AREA BY THE CAM RIVER

After more than 18 months of implementation, The Centric project in the North Cam River New Urban Area, Thuy Nguyen Ward, Hai Phong City has been officially completed and is ready for operation. This is not only a key project of Newtecons in the Northern region, but also a milestone affirming the company’s prestige, determination, and construction capability in the market.

MODERN SCALE – REMARKABLE LANDMARK

Built on a total floor area of over 107,307 m², The Centric comprises 9 blocks with 249 six-story shoptique units, while also completing the entire technical infrastructure and internal traffic system. The project contributes to shaping a new face for the North Cam River urban area – a modern and synchronized highlight in the urban development landscape of the port city Hai Phong.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES – FULFILLING COMMITMENTS

Throughout the construction process, the Site Management Board and the construction team had to face many challenges. Prolonged periods of heavy rain, especially the impact of Typhoon Yagi, severely affected the schedule. In addition, the shortage of construction manpower in the Northern region during the second half of 2024 added further pressure.

In response to these difficulties, the Site Management Board promptly adjusted construction methods and flexibly divided work zones to adapt to weather conditions. With the close support of the Executive Board and company departments, the project expanded its partner network and implemented policies to attract and support workers, ensuring consistent resources.

HUMAN CAPITAL – THE ENDURING VALUE OF THE PROJECT

A particular highlight of The Centric lies in its young team of engineers. Under the guidance of the Site Management Board, this young workforce matured rapidly, demonstrating enthusiasm, responsibility, and remarkable professional progress.

Therefore, The Centric is not only a project completed on schedule and meeting quality standards, but also a valuable “real-life classroom” where Newtecons’ next generation is trained and developed. At the same time, the project stands as evidence of strong partnerships – where trust and collaboration were strengthened at every stage.
