NEWTECONS WELCOMES THE FOUNDER OF AMATA GROUP

On November 5, 2025, Newtecons was honored to welcome Mr. Vikrom Kromadit – Founder and Chairman of Amata Group, along with other members of the delegation, during their visit and working trip to Vietnam.

Representing Newtecons, the meeting was attended by Mr. Nguyen Ba Duong – Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with the Executive Board and company management representatives. The discussion took place in a warm, open, and cooperative atmosphere.

Mr. Vikrom Kromadit is one of Asia’s most renowned and influential entrepreneurs. Born in 1953 in Thailand, he started his business journey from scratch. With strategic vision and unwavering determination, he founded Amata Group in 1989 – now one of Southeast Asia’s largest industrial estate and urban developers, operating actively in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar.

Beyond his success in business, Mr. Vikrom Kromadit is also an inspirational author and speaker, known for his philosophy of “Building an Empire from Empty Hands” and his belief that “Success must go hand in hand with social responsibility”, “The 50-Year Dream” and “Adversity and Success”…

In 2023, he was recognized by Forbes Asia in its list of “Heroes of Philanthropy” for his outstanding contributions to education and community development.

The purpose of this visit was for Mr. Vikrom Kromadit to tour Newtecons’ office and learn more about the company’s overall capabilities and corporate culture. Newtecons is currently the main contractor of the Amata Long Thanh project – one of Amata’s key developments in Vietnam. During the meeting, both parties also discussed long-term collaboration opportunities in upcoming industrial and urban infrastructure projects across Vietnam.
