NEWTECONS SITE TOURS: WHERE DREAMS TAKE SHAPE

Nearly 300 students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, University of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, and University of Architecture have had the opportunity to experience real-world construction projects at Newtecons, Ricons, SOL E&C, BM Windows, DB, and BOHO Decor. The three-day program (September 19-21) took place at critical projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong, providing students with valuable insights and hands-on experience.

The tour took students to significant projects such as Van Lang University (Newtecons), Akari Hoang Nam (Ricons), Green Tower (SOL E&C), and the BM Windows factory. Students visited the project management office at each site, learned about the ecosystem companies, and gained an overview of the project.

Beyond the tours, students gained hands-on experience at the construction site, learning about construction processes, advanced technologies, and innovative building solutions. They also benefited from insights shared by experienced engineers and experts from the ecosystem companies.

Beyond sharing professional knowledge, the program allowed students to network and interact directly with alumni working within the ecosystem. This helped students better understand the real-world work environment, identify opportunities and challenges in the workplace, and explore future career paths.

The program was highly regarded for its effectiveness in connecting academia and industry. By bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical experience, the program improved the quality of human resources for the construction sector. This initiative highlights Newtecons and its partners’ commitment to developing the Vietnamese construction industry.
