NEWTECONS LAUNCHES SORA GARDENS SC PROJECT – THE LARGEST COMMERCIAL CENTER IN NEW BINH DUONG CITY, BUILT TO JAPANESE STANDARDS
[Binh Duong, March 8, 2022] – Newtecons proudly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the SORA Gardens SC project, marking the beginning of what will be the first and largest commercial center in the newly developed Binh Duong city. This venture is the second instance of successful collaboration between Newtecons and Becamex Tokyu, following the Sora Gardens II project.
Spanning 4 floors and covering an area of 19,863 m2, the SORA Gardens SC project boasts a multi-functional space featuring a supermarket, shopping zones, entertainment areas, food courts, a cinema, and a verdant park with eye-catching scenery, establishing it as the unique and premier commercial hub in New Binh Duong City to date.
Moreover, SORA Gardens SC has been chosen by AEON (Japan) to introduce its inaugural “Compact GMS” supermarket model in Vietnam. This significant project has garnered substantial interest from the local government and citizens alike, promising to become a central attraction that encourages people to live and work in the area, thereby elevating the city’s appeal as a prime location for residence, work, and leisure.
During the ceremony, Mr. Onuma Minoru – Deputy General Director and COO of Becamex Tokyu – commended Newtecons: “Our trust in Newtecons, fostered through the Sora Gardens II project – a venture warmly embraced and acclaimed by our clients – sets a solid foundation for our future endeavors. As we anticipate next year’s opening, we look forward to continuous, uninterrupted progress, readiness against COVID-19, and adherence to the planned timeline. We believe this commercial center in New Binh Duong City will expedite other development projects, bringing the ‘Always new’ vision to fruition and contributing to the progressive development of Binh Duong province.”
Mr. Tran Kim Long, General Director of Newtecons, expressed gratitude for Becamex Tokyu’s trust and is deeply committed to the project. He emphasized the importance of maintaining Newtecons’ hallmark of integrity and delivering the project with utmost quality and efficiency: “The collaboration on the SORA Gardens SC project between two industry vanguards, Becamex Tokyu, a premier real estate developer in Vietnam, and Newtecons, a top-tier reputable contractor, reflects our shared commitment to excellence. With a philosophy centered on integrity as our brand’s benchmark and a wealth of experience across major national projects, we pledge to meet the project’s timelines, quality standards, and aesthetic values, ensuring maximum satisfaction for both investors and customers. I am confident that the success of this project will lay a stronger foundation for our enduring partnership with Becamex Tokyu.”
With a proven track record in executing projects with complex structures, high technical demands, and extensive experience in constructing commercial centers to the highest specifications, Newtecons’ Project Management Team is committed to overcoming any challenges to ensure the project’s successful completion, surpassing obstacles related to accelerated timelines, stringent technical requirements, and selective subcontractor standards.
Previously, Newtecons successfully executed the Sora Gardens II project with Becamex Tokyu, delivering it on schedule and to the satisfaction of its residents, garnering positive feedback.
Sora Gardens II, encompassing 84,000 m2 with 24 stories and 557 luxury apartments built to Japanese standards, offers a premium living environment with green spaces and state-of-the-art amenities. The project is a joint venture between Becamex Tokyu and Mitsubishi Corporation, a leading Japanese company in urban development. The successful completion of this project has created a vibrant community at the gateway of the city, significantly transforming and enhancing New Binh Duong City’s landscape and value.
Located on Hung Vuong Boulevard, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province, the SORA Gardens SC project is slated for completion and operation by early 2023. The Project Management Team has developed several strategies to meet the fast-paced construction schedule while adhering to the strictest Japanese quality standards.
