NEWTECONS JOINS FORCES WITH ITS ECOSYSTEM TO HOST TECHNICAL DAY AT HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, HCMUT

Technical Day 2024 made a splash on September 14, 2024, when it took place at the A5 Auditorium of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology’s Ly Thuong Kiet Campus. The event was a massive hit with students and lecturers alike.

Technical Day 2024, a must-attend event for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering students, was hosted by a consortium of top construction and design firms, including Newtecons, Ricons, Sol E&C, BM Windows, D&B, and BOHO Decor. The event delved into two key topics: “Special Structural Construction – Transfer Slabs” and “BIM MEP Application in Construction.”

Mr. Nguyen Vu Khai, Head of Human Resources, represented Newtecons at the event.

At the workshop, students could tap into the expertise of seasoned engineers and stay ahead of the curve in the construction industry. The in-depth reports offered valuable insights into the latest technologies and innovative solutions.

Mr. Bui Quang Thai, Head of Construction Engineering at Ricons, presented a paper on “Special Structural Construction – Transfer Slabs.”

Mr. Tran Cong Ly, Head of BIM at Ricons, shared insights on “BIM MEP in Construction.”

Beyond the technical talks, Technical Day 2024 offered students a chance to connect with industry experts in a panel discussion. This interactive session provided valuable insights into the professional world and helped students understand the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

The panel discussion, featuring representatives from Newtecons, Ricons, SOL E&C, BM Windows, D&B, and BOHO Decor, was a highlight of the event. Students benefited from the experts’ insights and were encouraged to pursue their passions in the construction industry.
