NEWTECONS AND THE NEXT GENERATION: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR TOGETHER

Newtecons, in collaboration with other companies in its Ecosystem, organized a three-day field trip from April 3 to 5, 2025. This trip offered nearly 300 students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, University of Architecture HCMC, and HCMC University of Technology and Education a hands-on experience at construction sites.

The program aimed to help construction and architecture students gain real-world insight. Participants observed on-site construction activities, learned about project management practices, and explored advanced technologies currently being applied at significant projects led by Newtecons and its Ecosystem companies.

Beyond enhancing their academic understanding, students also benefited from direct engagement with veteran engineers and project managers, who shared practical insights into site coordination, progress control, quality assurance, and safety management. The open Q&A sessions with company representatives proved especially helpful in clarifying career requirements and guiding students toward future development goals.

The program received enthusiastic support from both students and faculty members. More than just a valuable hands-on learning experience, it was a meaningful bridge connecting universities, businesses, and students, contributing to developing a high-quality workforce for Vietnam’s construction industry.

Following the success in Southern Vietnam, Newtecons and its Ecosystem will soon extend the field trip initiative to students in the Northern region. This continued effort reflects the company’s long-term commitment to empowering future talents and spreading knowledge across the country’s thriving construction sector.
