NEWTECONS ACCOMPANIES VAN LANG UNIVERSITY AT THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE TRAINING AND RESEARCH COMPLEX – HOA LAC HI-TECH PARK
On August 12, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony for Van Lang University’s Training and Research Complex was held at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Hanoi, with the participation of representatives from the Hanoi Authority for High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks, Van Lang University, consulting firms, partners, and Newtecons as the General Contractor. Spanning more than 50,000 m², the project is envisioned as a hub for education, research, and innovation, contributing to the development of a highly skilled workforce in science and technology for Vietnam.
Vietnam is accelerating the development of science, technology, innovation, and high-quality human resources. Alongside policy and education initiatives, infrastructure plays an essential role in turning these ambitions into reality—from spaces dedicated to learning and research to facilities that support technological advancement and innovation. Within this broader landscape, the buildings constructed today serve not only immediate functional needs but also create the physical foundation for activities that will continue for many years to come. This is particularly significant for educational and research facilities, where the quality of infrastructure is closely linked to the learning, working, and research environment experienced by generations of students, lecturers, and researchers.
As the General Contractor, Newtecons continues to be entrusted by Van Lang University with the development of its new project in Hoa Lac, building on the partnership established through previous educational projects in Ho Chi Minh City. This continued collaboration reflects not only Newtecons’ project delivery capabilities but also the trust and responsibility built through each stage of cooperation. Through this project, Newtecons will contribute to realizing the infrastructure requirements of a new education and research environment—one designed not simply for immediate use, but to support generations of learning, research, and development in the years ahead.
