NEWTECONS SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE (UAH)
On June 17, 2022, Newtecons and Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture formalized a cooperation agreement, reinforcing a beneficial relationship between the corporation and the educational institution. The ceremony saw the presence of the university’s leadership, company divisions, and departmental representatives.
The university’s rector, Assoc. Prof. and Dr. Le Van Thuong, emphasized, “The University of Architecture prioritizes scientific research, technology transfer, and corporate cooperation to foster comprehensive development in our students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes. We are committed to facilitating internship and employment opportunities for our students with industry leaders like Newtecons in the construction sector.”
Mr. Le Duc Buu – Operations Director of Newtecons, underlined the symbiotic relationship between academia and industry, and the integration of theoretical training with practical application. He stated, “Thanks to our enduring and robust collaboration over the years, I am confident that today’s event marks a new, stronger stage of progress between the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture and Newtecons. We are committed to providing students with experiences that enrich their practical knowledge in Vietnam’s top professional settings.
Post-ceremony, Newtecons and UAH university plan to intensify activities, including internships, occupational safety training, and soft skills’ development for students majoring in construction engineering and infrastructure engineering. The partnership aims to support student involvement in improvement projects, academic contests, specialized training, and to offer site visits and career guidance. These initiatives are designed to familiarize students with advanced construction techniques and technologies, effectively turning theoretical knowledge into practical skills ready for immediate application upon graduation.
The successful execution of the signing ceremony underscores the ongoing dedication to a long-term partnership between Newtecons and UAH university, highlighting a shared commitment to educational excellence and the nurturing of future engineering talents.
