NEWTECONS HOSTS INTERNSHIP REPORTING EVENT FOR HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS
Recently, Newtecons hosted the “2022 Internship Report” event and awarded prizes in the “The First Experience” competition to interns from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This occasion allowed students to confidently showcase their achievements from two months of internship at the company and to receive constructive feedback and guidance for their future. This initiative is part of a series of activities under the 2022 MOU signed between Newtecons and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, aiming to offer students hands-on experience in the field.
During the presentation session, nine intern groups, each with five members, took turns delivering 10-minute presentations on topics of their choosing. Following each presentation, the Jury, composed of Newtecons’ professionals, engaged the groups with questions. The direct feedback and suggestions from the Jury helped the interns identify their strengths and areas for improvement, facilitating a valuable learning process to enhance their knowledge and expertise.
Additionally, to encourage enthusiasm among the interns during their presentations, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the groups that demonstrated outstanding performance. The First, Second, and Third Prizes for the “2022 Internship Report” were awarded to groups focusing on “Site Layout and Construction”, “Office Work and On-Site Tasks at the Flora Panorama Project”, and “Mizuki Park and Its Values”, respectively. These groups stood out for their depth of content, innovative presentation techniques, and comprehensive understanding of their subjects.
Ms. Cao Thi Minh Tri, Head of Human Resources & Training, spoke about the work environment and career opportunities at Newtecons for students after their internship. She emphasized that Newtecons is keen on welcoming committed individuals who meet the job requirements.
In conjunction with the internship, Newtecons also awarded prizes in the “The First Experience” competition, designed to accompany students and capture memorable moments in their first genuine construction environment. The awards were given to:

“Most Impressive Image” Prize: Le Cong Dat – SORA Gardens SC project
Interns at Newtecons are given real responsibilities and tasks, mirroring the duties of an engineer, experiencing various roles from office work to on-site tasks. They benefit from the guidance of supervisors and colleagues, along with the project management team’s structured work and rest regime. These experiences are designed to be both a valuable foundation and cherished memories for the interns.
