NEWTECONS AWARDS SHOPDRAWING & REVIT COURSE CERTIFICATE
Following an evaluation of their four months of training, Newtecons certified 17 engineers from the project and office in the M&E Division in Shopdrawing and Revit. Mr. Vo Thanh Cang, representative of the Board of Directors and Director of the M&E Division, presented certificates to learners who completed this course successfully.
This is the second Shopdrawing & Revit course to be held this year. Students are trained in basic knowledge of design software such as Autocad, Naviswork, and Revit over the course of 15 lessons, with the goal of being able to apply it smoothly to building 3D models, check and publish construction drawings, combination drawings, and collision control, etc. after completing the course.
Mr. Thoi Van Hoi (Expert in Bidding Department – M&E) took on the role of lecturer, ensuring that all knowledge was properly understood and effectively applied by learners. “To complete this course, students must have a tremendous amount of resolve and perseverance. When a large number of projects reach their peak, it can be difficult to focus on their studies. Nonetheless, they continued to study, attended all sessions in full, completed all assignments, and passed the final exam. I place a high value on learner effort”.
“As one of the Company’s new supervisors, I feel fortunate to have a good opportunity to attend the course and supplement my knowledge for the job, I had previously learned about Revit on my own, but it was sporadic. Since then, I have systematized my knowledge and applied it more effectively to my work, specifically for the bidding of a recent project”, said Mr. Le Minh Tam who received the highest honor for his graduation.
“The Shopdrawing & Revit course has successfully concluded and resulted in many positive outcomes”, said Mr. Vo Thanh Cang, Director of M&E Division, with joy. “As a result, we will expand the training model going forward so that both M&E and Construction staffs will have the chance to participate in learning and knowledge advancement”.
The Human Resource Management Department uses the completion of the course as a basis for evaluating the quality of human resources each year, which may lead to opportunities for the completed learners to be appointed and promoted in the near future.
The recently released draft predicts that BIM – Revit will quickly catch on and be widely used on construction sites. As the top general contractor for construction in Vietnam, Newtecons has pioneered and implemented this solution in numerous projects, including Grand Marina in Saigon, Masteri Waterfont, Techcombank Saigon Tower, Flora Mizuki and Flora Panorama, the Sóng, M Garden City Da Nang, tSora Gardens SC, and Viettel Hoa Lac, etc.
